The down of hibryd mechanisms

The need for the nonessential. The desire for the dispensable. The pine for the purposeless.

“The Dawn of Hybrid Mechanisms” is based on the subtle truths of technological hunger. The birth of these ineffective contraptions, that at first present novelty and diversity, uphold the ideals of an effortless being. People want life to be continually made easier, things are increasingly becoming more wireless. For example; machines like the paper shredder – in truth, an object of futility.

So these mechanisms are born, born with multiple purposes and irregular shapes and forms. The sole purpose of these appliances being to serve and in some cases aid. However, the quest for this utopian world decorated with ease, is tinged with the sense of uncertainty. Continually testing the technological boundaries, we overlook the thin line between an object of hazard and an object of assistance. I ask the viewer, as a native in this modern day infatuation for the incapable –

What is more mysterious, than the perpetual hallucination of an effortless existence?
