Within Adriana Saavedra wander pieces of their most beloved. It is in her Barcelona studio, isolated from any voice of the city, where these came out and ask to be captured in a canvas. With acrylics and brushes lines gives shape and color to her world: the voice of the origins, the childhood locations, significative moments captured, beloved portraits, friendship. A way to spread fantasy to her reality, to become accomplice to her accomplices, to cast those who complete her closest circle. Placing photography apart, clear referent in her work, Adriana Saavedra has found now the pictorial language in the most suitable way to express all that, either known or undiscovered, shapes her imaginary and take part in her work as a graphic witness.
